Our lease abstractors are carefully and professionally chosen and trained.

Before our abstractors are allowed assignments, they must successfully complete our own, industry exclusive, 20 component “Lease Abstracting Competency” video course after which their work is judged by a lawyer, a senior lease analyst and a lease manager.

Every lease abstract includes:

  • Accurate abstracting of all documents in the original file (leases/subleases, addenda, exhibits, riders, amendments, correspondence, year end statements, post-it-notes, etc.)
  • Data captured to a base set of 150+ fields
  • Compilation audits of rents/CAM/OE/RET/TI for baselining lease management
  • Complete e-tagging (bookmarking) of lease documents
  • Organization into state/city sorted libraries in pdf formats
  • Initial document file evaluations for completeness of documentary record
  • Portfolio Lease Administration Reports on Abstract Summaries of Lease Details, Rents, Parties, Options, Clauses, Insurance , Critical Dates, Payables, FASB/SarbOx issues. Reports produced in Excel and .pdf formats and delivered on WWW and USB memory device

  • Develop and Maintain FASB/GAAP components from each file in support of capital vs. operating lease determinations and accounting, including straight lining and PV calculations
  • Coordinate  lease management application for custom reporting and database enhancement in support of your defined portfolio requirements and objectives
